Job Analysis Manual

The MPS copyrighted job analysis system, Standardized Approach to Job Analysis (SAJA), is described in a 200+ page manual. SAJA is designed to comply with all requirements of the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures (1978) with regard to job analysis and content validation. SAJA was originally designed for non-supervisory jobs, and takes a "start-from-scratch" approach. The manual also includes a test development section, covering issues such as reliability, validity, and item analysis. Each SAJA procedure is referenced to the Uniform Guidelines section which requires it. SAJA has frequently been used in litigious settings, and in at least one known incident involving a government employer, the Department of Justice declined to attack exams based on SAJA, but did attack all exams based on another well-known, commercially available job analysis system. Purchase of the SAJA system gives your organization the right to make copies as needed of the "reproducible masters" in conducting internal job analysis studies. Note: The System will not be sold to individual consultants or consulting firms.
